Well this is it. My last Sunday effort for Sarah Hurley. I have really enjoyed my month as guest designer, so thank you very much Sarah for the opputunity.
For this card I used 1 of Sarahs new ink sprays in the teal colour and misted through a mica mask. I then sprayed over the top with Silver spray & sparkle. I cut around the image and mounted onto a 6" square card blank. Then, using the Christmas Cheer cd, i printed off a sheet of the postage stamp toppers. I cut out 3 of them and positioned them diagonally across the card. then finished off with a glittery Merry Christmas sentiment and a gem in the centre of the snowflakes. Hope you all like it.

I received the following blog award today for finishing 3rd in the Sarah Hurley challenge something 3d. I entered my christmas table set featured below and I am delighted to have made the top 3. Especially when all the entries were so good. Yay me!

Well its Sunday again which can mean only 1 thing, another sample offering from Sarah Hurley. This card came from Sarah's Woodland Whimsies Cd. I took a shaped tri-fold card and used a Tim Holtz distess inkpad around the edges of the ovals. Then using a scallop circle punch, I cut out the squirrel topper and 2 acorn toppers and attached them to the ovals. I added brown paper ribbons to the edges of the card and added borders using a brown fine liner pen. I then matted and layered the acorn paper onto some brown card and added the negative acorn toppers to the corners. it was then finished with the I'm Nuts About You! sentiment. Hope you like it.
On another note, I had a fab holiday and was really pleased on my return to see myself in a feature in this months Quick Cards magazine so if you get a chance, please check it out.
Until next time, TTFN. Nicola x

this is my second effort for Sarah Hurley. I made this Christmas table set using the Christmas Cheer! cd. I printed the turquoise snowflake paper onto card and the 1 sheet of A4 makes all 3 items. I cut the card in half vertically and used 1 half to make the wedge favour/gift box finished of with coordinating ribbons. the remaining half was punched along both long edges using a Martha Stewart snowflake border punch. I wrapped it around a candle and added a ribbon. the remaining piece was folded over a piece of silver mirror board to make a name place card. I then printed out a page of snowflake toppers and added 1 to each item with a gemstone in the centre. Hope you like the set as much as me. See you all after my holiday. Bye for now. Nicky x

Hello all. As promised here is my first offering for Sarah Hurley as the guest designer of the month.
It is made using the very gorgeous bunnies from Woodland Whimsies Cd.
I concertinered a sheet of blue silk art board and added a sheet of acetate to the back panel(hard to see in the photo) and added the with love sentiment along the edge of the concertinas. I then added 2 of the bunny heart shaped toppers over the join of the board and the acetate and added gems in between. It was then finished off with a heart border on the left hand edge.
Hope you like it. Nicola x
